Connect a professional account
Authorize through Instagram. Opening the authorization screen does not mean you are connected: Clonic verifies the channel before activation. You do not share your password with the agent.
You can start the conversation
Send a personal, manual opening DM. When the recipient replies and the channel allows a response, the agent can continue with that context. Clonic does not use this flow for automated cold campaigns.
Make the handoff clear
The assistant identifies itself as AI in its first intervention. If you write manually after the recipient has replied, Clonic pauses automation in that conversation. Resuming requires an explicit action.
Respect messaging windows
Instagram restricts what an application can send and when. A connected account does not allow unrestricted messaging. Clonic checks the messaging window and hands over when it cannot send.
